Job Details- Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) — Travel Nurse / Travel RN
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 – $2,500
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 15, 2026
- Shift: Day shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts (06:00 – 16:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Call: Required (4 shifts per 6-week schedule)
- Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) — cardiac OR, cardiothoracic surgery

- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR RN experience; open-heart surgery experience required (CABG, valve, cardiothoracic cases)
- Skilled to scrub and circulate in complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including structural heart (TAVR) cases
- Active RN license (Maryland RN or compact license accepted)
- BLS required; ACLS preferred for cardiac OR nurse roles
- Perioperative certification or CVOR-specific training preferred
- First-time travel nurses accepted — great opportunity for travel RN jobs in Maryland
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Two supervisor references required
- Scrub and circulate for heart and vascular cases, including CABG, TAVR, valve replacements, AAA repair, and structural heart procedures
- Provide perioperative patient care for adults undergoing cardiovascular surgery as a CVOR RN and perioperative nurse
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (Anesthesia, Perfusion, IV, PT, RT, Pharmacy) to ensure safe, evidence-based care
- Manage intraoperative instrumentation and equipment specific to cardiac and vascular cases
- Participate in assigned weekend and weekday call rotations as scheduled
- Maintain compliance with facility-specific modules, policies, and credentialing requirements
- Hands-on CVOR experience in a high-quality cardiothoracic program — ideal for cardiac OR nurses and perioperative professionals
