Manufacturing Engineer
Senior Manufacturing Engineer opportuity with our client located near the Hampstead, NY area. This position will be responsible to drive New Product Introduction and lead lean manufacturing initiatives. Seeking a proven candidate with expertise in machining, brazing, and welding ideally within aerospace, defense, or medical device environments to elevate the engineering team and execute high-impact projects from day one.
Relocation assistance will be considered for highly qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
- Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and implement lean manufacturing methodologies to optimize production processes and bridge critical technical skill gaps.
- Apply deep expertise in machining, brazing, and welding processes to troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges and refine production techniques.
- Partner with and guide early-career engineering talent, using senior-level technical knowledge to drive project execution and continuous improvement.
- Build cross-functional relationships to effectively influence stakeholders, streamline workflows, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Author, update, and validate detailed manufacturing documentation, tooling designs, and operational instructions to ensure seamless transition from design to production.
