Electronic Assembler III
Introduction
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electro/Mechanical Assembly position. This position is a contract opportunity that is on-site in Irvine, CA and would be thru the end of the year with possible extensions.
Schedule: 5:30am - 2pm with Overtime.Electronic Assembler Summary: The Electronics Assembler III is in charge of performing within his / her area of technological specification; tasks in the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturing documentation and the time allocated using the resources available (including conventional and/or digital machine tools) and inspects his / her own work.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Electronic Assembler Responsibilities: -Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components-Identifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units-Utilizes a wide range of tools including soldering iron-Interfaces with PC to record job activities-Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclature-Know how to read and follow assembly work instructions including drawing assemblies and MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions)-Must be able to learn and utilize Company's resources such as MRP-SAP, Chorus 2.0, Team Center to verify all related documents and procedures.-Assists the line lead to ensure calibration/certification on all test equipment and hand tools are up to date and/or turn in to tool crib for calibration and certification.-Support the line and actively participates with continuous improvement program by following Lean Concepts and 5S guidelines.-Must be flexible with jobs that can assist in other production lines, warehouse/stockroom, and kitting team as well as helping assembly line when required.
