Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily living and instrumental activities while working in a home health setting in Columbus, MS.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Mississippi Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required; maintain current certification while on assignment. (Preferred: CPR Instructor credential if applicable.)
  • Home health experience preferred. Candidates with prior experience conducting skilled evaluations, ADL/IADL training, home safety assessments, and caregiver education will be prioritized.
  • Documentation experience with electronic medical records required. Experience with home health-specific EMR systems is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel between patient residences.

About This Opportunity

This home health OT role requires clinical independence, strong assessment and intervention skills, and the ability to document timely and accurately. The clinician will perform comprehensive evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, implement ADL/IADL training, recommend durable medical equipment and home modifications, and provide caregiver education.

The position supports continuity of care across interdisciplinary teams and requires effective communication with nursing and case management.
