Senior Project Manager will work across environmental and industrial subject areas and support planning and coordinating environmental and regulatory review and permitting for projects. support our growing ecological sciences practice in New York.The Scientific Project Manager will plan and coordinate applications to federal, state, and local agencies. Project Managers should have experience with environmental permitting, project management and general environmental experience for solar, water and wind licensing and permitting for traditional energy sectors.
Manage medium-to-large-scale projects related to environmental regulations.
o Develop schedules and budgets
o Mentor and lead staff
o Act as primary liaison for agencies, to the public and for our clients.
o Will act as technical expert on environmental, siting, and permitting matters at public meetings and workshops
o Meet with federal, state, and local agencies, as well as vendors and sub contractors
Projects include ecological field work, wetlands management and mitigation, environmental site design, erosion, scientific studies and more
Lead and support the scoping, preparation, and execution of biological, geological and other scientific studies
Review and analyze reports and documentation prepared by subject matter experts.
Conduct environmental inspection and monitoring to ensure compliance with environmental licensing requirements
