We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to join our client's team. In this role, you will support our finance department by managing day-to-day accounts payable operations. Your primary focus will be processing vendor invoices, verifying payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping ensure our vendors are paid accurately and on time.

salary: $24 - $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 2 PM

Responsibilities

Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with high accuracy.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving reports (3-way matching).
Route invoices to appropriate department heads for approval.
Prepare weekly or bi-weekly payment runs via check, ACH, or wire transfers.
Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding invoice status and payment timelines.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies or missing documentation.
Maintain clean, secure digital filing systems for vendor records, invoices, and receipts.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting team during month-end close.
