Assignment Overview: Position: Pain Medicine Physician Start Date: April 1, 2025 End Date: Ongoing (initial term negotiable) Work Schedule: 2 days per week at an outpatient surgery center (procedures) 3 days per week at a clinic setting (consultations) Patient Load: Approximately 12-15 patients per shift Practice Setting: Outpatient only; no inpatient or hospital privileges required Procedures: Epidurals, facet injections, ablations, and other pain management procedures are performed at the surgery center.
Call: No call required Requirements: Board Certification: Required in Pain Medicine License: Active and unrestricted California medical license Certifications: ACLS required; Active Fluoroscopy (Fluoro) certification is mandatory (temporary Fluoro may be accepted with documentation) Experience: Previous experience in outpatient pain management is preferred, but not required Additional Notes: The position is open to providers who are looking for both part-time and full-time availability.
Providers must have experience performing fluoroscopic-guided procedures and be comfortable working independently. Facility Information: The outpatient clinic offers a supportive environment with a focus on pain management for patients in the local community.No hospital/surgery center privileges are needed, and no admissions are required. The facility uses Epic as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
