- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience (interventional cardiology, cardiac catheterization, cath lab procedures)
- Active Idaho RN license or multi-state compact RN license (must be attached to resume)
- AHA ACLS & BLS certifications required (American Heart Association; attach to submission)
- Experience with cardiovascular radiographic and interventional procedures (e.g., cardiac catheterization, angiography, PCI)
- Strong critical thinking, scientific judgement, and leadership skills in high-acuity settings
- At least 1 year of overall nursing experience required
- Excellent documentation, patient assessment, and patient safety practices
- Provide direct nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the cardiologist
- Prepare patients for procedures, monitor hemodynamics, manage sedation/medications, and provide post-procedure recovery care
- Support the Cardiac Catheterization Lab team during high-level invasive procedures and maintain sterile technique
- Operate and assist with cath lab equipment, contrast administration, and patient monitoring devices
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgement in patient care planning and provision
- Ensure compliance with state Nurse Practice Act, AHA guidelines, and hospital policies
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold patient safety and quality standards
