Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in Ventura County requiring a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience, ICU experience, and an active CA RN license.
Details- 13-week travel contract
- PACU unit in a hospital setting
- Adult patient population
- 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
- 4x10-hour variable day shifts between Monday and Friday, with shift start times ranging from 0800–0930
- Weekend coverage required
- 24 hours of weekend on-call duty per month
- One weekday on-call shift per week (Monday–Friday, 2300–0700)
- Floating required
- Uses Pyxis, SBAR, and Cerner
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- TNCC certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
- ICU experience required
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- All time-off requests must be submitted upfront; RTO should be limited to 3–4 days for the duration of the contract
