Role Overview
VersAbility Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support operations within the MSC Government Contracts division in San Diego, CA.This role provides essential administrative and clerical support, including managing records, coordinating schedules, supporting payroll processes, and assisting leadership with daily operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

What You'll Do- /tPerform administrative and clerical duties including filing, scheduling, and managing correspondence
- /tAnswer and direct phone calls while providing excellent customer service
- /tMaintain records, files, and organizational data with accuracy and confidentiality
- /tDevelop and generate routine reports and assist with data tracking
- /tCoordinate meetings, presentations, and internal communications
- /tSupport payroll administration and personnel record management
- /tAssist with research projects, presentations, charts, and other materials as needed
- /tImplement and maintain organized records management processes and procedures
- /tMonitor and maintain office supplies within budget and coordinate special orders
- /tSupport cross-functional administrative needs and collaborate with internal teams
- /tAssist in developing and maintaining efficient administrative processes
- /tPerform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- /tHigh school diploma or GED required
- /tAssociate's or bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)
- /tMinimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or office setting
- /tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- /tStrong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- /tAbility to handle confidential information with discretion
- /tAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- /tFamiliarity with disability services (preferred)

Work Environment & Physical RequirementsThis position operates in a professional office environment supporting a government contract. The role requires frequent interaction with staff, leadership, and external stakeholders.
Work is primarily sedentary, with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting (up to 10-20 lbs.) may be required.

Schedule
This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM (40 hours per week), offering a consistent daytime schedule. (40 hours per week). Occasional flexibility may be required based on operational needs.________________________________________
