Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead
This role involves leading QA strategy, mentoring team members, and ensuring top-notch software delivery across multiple projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead QA efforts across multiple applications, ensuring thorough test coverage and high-quality releases.Design and implementmanual and automated test plans, test cases, and regression suites.Develop and maintainautomation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.Collaborate closely withdevelopers, business analysts, and product owners to define acceptance criteria and improve testability.Drivecontinuous integration and testing processes using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.Perform functional, regression, performance, and API testing.Identify, document, and track defects through issue-tracking systems such asJIRA.Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in quality engineering.
Required Qualifications: 15+ years of experience insoftware testing and quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a QA leadership role.Strong expertise intest automation, API testing, and test strategy design.Hands-on experience with automation tools likeSelenium, Postman, JMeter, RestAssured, or Cypress.Excellent understanding ofSDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools (e.g., Zephyr, Xray, TestRailStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud testing (AWS, Azure, or GCPExposure toDevOps and Shift-Left testing practices.Familiarity with performance and security testing tools.ISTQB or equivalent QA certification preferred
