Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification and 2+ years of experience.
Details- Short-term acute care hospital setting within a Level II Trauma Center, part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- Nuclear Medicine unit focused on routine PET/CT exams for oncology patients
- Siemens Biograph equipment used on-site
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- Free parking available on-site
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification required (not both)
- Proficiency with Siemens Biograph imaging equipment
- Experience with routine PET/CT oncology exams
- License required if applicable
- Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions considered
- Perform routine PET/CT exams for an oncology patient population
- 1 reference required for consideration
- Candidates who were previously employed at this facility as permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
- Local Nuclear Medicine Technologists are eligible to be considered for this position; a local pay rate may apply
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility who are not Nuclear Medicine or CT Techs are not eligible for the travel pay rate
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility
