Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR (Operating Room) position in Colorado, requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active CO or compact RN license.
Details- General Surgery OR unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
- 40 hours per week, 4 days per week
- No call or weekend shifts required
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA only); must not expire prior to start date
- ACLS, NRP, or PALS may be required as appropriate for the unit
- Minimum of 1 year of OR experience required
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- English proficiency required (speak, read, write)
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care in the OR setting
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and reviews therapy and treatment plans
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- BSN and applicable specialty certification preferred
