Job Description
  • Manage and oversee international tax compliance and reporting processes to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective global tax strategies for clients to optimize their tax position.
  • Provide guidance on international tax matters, including transfer pricing and cross-border transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to address tax issues and opportunities.
  • Monitor changes in international tax laws and regulations to assess their impact on clients.
  • Prepare and review tax calculations, provisions, and filings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in tax audits and resolve queries from tax authorities.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members within the tax department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful International Tax Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, JD, or MST strongly preferred)
  • 6-10+ years of experience in international tax, ideally from a mix of Big 4 and in-house environments
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts and global tax compliance
  • Experience operating in a multinational, matrixed environment
  • Ability to translate complex tax issues into practical, business-focused solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
