Job Description
Under the direction of the Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary leadership team, the RCP will perform respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic procedures ordered by physicians. This role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of patient care while considering age-specific and population-specific needs.
In the absence of leadership, the RCP may also serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts.
ResponsibilitiesPerform respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic procedures
Assess and monitor patient respiratory status
Document treatments and patient responses accurately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with hospital protocols
Provide support and leadership during assigned shifts as needed
Requirements
Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner license (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
