Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a Spine & Total Joint unit position requiring at least 1 year of acute care hospital OR experience and spine and joint experience, with a 7A–7P day shift schedule.
Details- Spine & Total Joint unit within a hospital OR setting, including an International Hip Preservation Center
- Unit operates 8–11 OR rooms staffed Monday through Friday on day shift
- Weekend shifts are on-call only; no overnight call required
- Night call hours are 5PM–11PM, Monday through Friday
- Common procedures include spine fusions, ALIFs, all spine cases, and total joint replacements
- EMR system is Meditech/CPN; prior Meditech experience is preferred
- Day shift schedule: 7AM–7PM
- Unit staffing includes a Charge RN and Unit Secretary per shift
- Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum 1 year of recent, acute care hospital OR experience required
- Spine and joint OR experience required
- Joint scrub experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of total clinical experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- On-call response time of 30 minutes required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- One professional reference required for consideration
- Prior Meditech experience is a plus but not required
