Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join a healthcare team in Camden, ME. This role involves providing high-quality patient care and supporting nursing staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
- Provide basic patient care, including repositioning, toileting, and feeding assistance
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient requests and call lights
- Report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Assist with procedures and specimen collection as directed
- Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient confidentiality
- Provide emotional support and basic education to patients and their families
- Active, state-approved CNA certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting
