Summary

As a Shift Lead in our Regional Distribution Center, you will split time between key warehouse shift management responsibilities, and day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring overall shift performance, developing operational action plans, and training to develop and grow the team.

You should be comfortable multi-tasking between supervisory and operational tasks and be eager to learn and excel in your role.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide hands-on support for any and all operational tasks, including receiving and picking stock, inventory counts, and other essential warehouse functions
  • Split time between operational tasks and shift management responsibilities, depending on needs of business
  • Effectively delegate and guide the work of other team members in accordance with Company principles and management model, when needed
  • Lead by example to ensure a safe, positive, and productive working environment for all warehouse employees based on company and legal policies and procedures
  • Support in the management of inventory process and stock control, warehouse cleanliness, and control of external vendors
  • Assist Logistics Team Lead Manager with minimizing costs and improving efficiency of staff and processes
What You’ll Need
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
