Role Overview

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented ServiceNow QA/Test Engineer to support quality assurance and testing efforts for a large-scale public sector ServiceNow platform. This role ensures all platform enhancements, upgrades, and custom applications are thoroughly tested, secure, and compliant with enterprise-grade security and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will manage the full testing lifecycle, including test planning, automation, execution, and validation within a highly secure, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc.).
Automated Testing (ATF)
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Ensure strong regression coverage through automation.
Functional & Regression Testing
  • Perform detailed manual functional testing of new features.
  • Execute regression testing during platform upgrades, patches, and releases.
Security & Compliance Validation
  • Validate platform configurations against defined security controls and data privacy requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with government-grade security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP-aligned standards).
Defect Management
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with development and architecture teams for root cause analysis and remediation.
UAT Support
  • Assist in preparing UAT scripts and support business stakeholders during user acceptance testing.
Performance Testing
  • Monitor system behavior during load and performance testing to ensure scalability and responsiveness.
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow testing experience
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, ServiceNow Test/Agile Management)
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium (preferred)
  • Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH (5 days/week)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in public sector or government environments
  • Understanding of security testing and accessibility standards (Section 508 compliance)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification
