Magnus Monitors is a Galway-based technology company developing innovative IoT monitoring solutions for customers in Ireland, the UK and international markets.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a commercially driven and energetic Field Sales Executive to help develop our customer base across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Field-based, covering Ireland and Northern Ireland
Reporting to
Head of Sales
The Role
This is a hands-on field sales role focused on growing sales across retail, merchant and distribution customers. You will manage and develop existing customer relationships while also identifying and winning new business across your territory.A large part of the role will involve being out in the market - meeting customers, visiting stores and branches, demonstrating our products, identifying commercial opportunities and helping customers successfully sell the Magnus range. You will take ownership of your territory and work closely with the wider Magnus team to achieve agreed sales targets.
What We're Looking For- Has previous field sales or business development experience, ideally within retail, hardware, merchant, wholesale or a similar environment.
- Enjoys meeting customers and developing long-term commercial relationships.
- Is confident generating new business and closing sales.
- Is comfortable working independently and managing a large territory.
- Is commercially minded, organised and target-driven.
- Is comfortable learning and demonstrating technology-based products.
- Is willing to travel regularly throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.
- Holds a full, valid driving licence.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the energy and ambition to help grow a developing sales territory within a fast-growing Irish technology company.
Package- Permanent, full-time position
- Base salary: €32,000-€40,000 depending on experience
- Commission: Target variable remuneration of 30% of base salary at 100% target achievement, with uncapped accelerators
- OTE: €41,600-€52,000 at target
- Company vehicle and fuel card
- Company laptop and mobile phone
- Business travel and accommodation expenses
- 20 days' annual leave plus public holidays
- Six-month probationary period
