Position Overview:
A Home Health Aide (HHA) assists clients with daily personal care and basic health support in a home setting. This role helps clients with activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support while following care instructions provided by clinical staff.The HHA also supports clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and basic monitoring of their condition. In addition, this role provides companionship and emotional support and may assist with transportation to appointments or errands.
This position is located in Staten Island, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility, ambulation, and safe transfers
- Help with meal preparation and basic nutrition support
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor client condition and report changes to clinical staff
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Provide medication reminders and support self-administered medications
- Accompany clients to appointments or assist with errands as needed
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Must provide a recent physical
- Must provide 2–3 reference letters
- Must have a recent PPD test
- Must provide I-9 documentation
- Must be able to follow care instructions and client confidentiality requirements
Pay Range: USD $19.75 - USD $19.75 /Hr.
