Job Description:
Seeking a skilled RN for the CVOR unit in Asheville, North Carolina. The role involves high-acuity patient care, requiring critical care experience and PreOp skills. Position includes responsibilities such as large-bore IV starts, medication administration, assisting with arterial line placements, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Large-bore IV starts
- Medication administration
- Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
- Transport patients to OR
- Assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
Requirements:
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Excellent communication skills with interdepartmental teams
- Critical thinking skills
