Job Description
As a Healthcare Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of our healthcare construction projects in Chicago, IL. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate all construction activities effectively.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Lead and motivate on-site teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or challenges promptly to maintain project progress.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving measures.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.

The Successful Applicant
Requirements:To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on healthcare construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare-specific building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing complex construction projects from start to finish.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire on-site teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to construction sites
