- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,620 - $2,760
- Orientation: 40 hours
- Charting System: Epic
- Call: No on-call requirement
- Weekend Coverage: As scheduled within the assignment
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Scrub and circulate experience required
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Experience with cardiac cases, liver transplant, craniotomies, and spinal cases
- Orthopedic fracture experience is a plus
- Experience with Epic EHR preferred
- First-time travelers accepted with appropriate OR experience
- Valid references and copies of certifications required
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room setting
- Scrub and circulate for a variety of complex surgical procedures
- Support trauma, cardiac, transplant, neurosurgical, spine, and orthopedic cases
- Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient workflow throughout procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and surgical team members
- Float between designated surgical areas as needed within the assignment
- Document accurately in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
- Adapt to a high-acuity environment while delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
