General Accountant- Part-Time (remote)

QUICKBOOKS ONLINE EXPERT IS A MUST and EXPERIENCE WITHIN A GENERAL ACCOUNTING OR BOOKKEEPING FIRM. THIS ROLE WILL DEAL WITH THE ACCOUNTING FOR A VARIETY OF CLIENTS/INDUSTRIES

Position: Experienced Lead Accountant remote but must reside in Michigan (lower)

This role offers significant growth potential and a flexible schedule. Compensation is based on experience. Were looking for someone with strong soft skills, technical expertise, and a passion for both accounting and client service.

• Provide client-specific bookkeeping and accounting services using QuickBooks Online (QBO), including:
• Monthly account reconciliation
• Accounts receivable and payable processing
• Payroll functions
• Generating reports (monthly, year-end, and ad hoc)
• Supporting special projects
• Ensure timely resolution and communication of client requests
• Manage and assist current bookkeeping staff
• Operate in a self-directed or leadership capacity

• Comfortable working independently or leading a team

• 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with A/R, A/P, and payroll
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Minimum Associates Degree in Accounting
• Comfortable with technology and learning new software
• Ability to work virtually/remotely
• Experience working with multiple clients at once
• Experience "cleaning-up" the books
• No tax season work required
