Machine Operator
Adecco is hiring for a Machine Operator in Peabody, MA. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Pay rate: $23-25 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Machine Setup and Operation: Calibrate, configure, and operate machinery according to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
- Production Monitoring: Oversee the production process, ensuring machinery operates at peak efficiency and output meets quality standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs on machinery to prevent downtime.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects and measure parts to ensure they meet specifications, often using tools like calipers or gauges.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA regulations, company safety procedures, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Documentation: Record production data, including units produced, material usage, and downtime in logs or digital systems.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills and ability to understand complex machinery, blueprints, or manuals.
- Experience: Previous experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor for, detect, and resolve quality flaws.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in industrial environments, and lift heavy materials.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is generally required; technical certification is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to work well in a team and report issues to supervisors

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
