The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting patients in attaining and maintaining Amergisum function due to chronic illness and/or a debilitating injury. The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse assists patients in the recovery process, as well as creating a recovery plan with the ultimate goal of achieving an independent lifestyle as much as possible.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
- One year prior professional nursing experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred
- CRRN certification may be required per state/client contract
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age

An acute inpatient rehab nurse provides hospital-level care to patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic surgery, spinal cord injury, and other medically complex conditions. This is a fast-paced, STAT-driven environment where falls are a common risk, so strong clinical awareness and quick response are essential.Success on this unit depends heavily on teamwork, communication, and contributing to a positive, supportive culture alongside therapy and nursing staff. The ideal clinician is adaptable, collaborative, and committed to helping patients safely regain function and return home.
2 years minimum acute rehab/and or med surg experience- bed, Joint-Commission–accredited acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital
Key regional provider for acute rehabilitation following stroke, neurological conditions, orthopedic events, and medically complex cases.
DETAIL BREAKDOWN** 36-hour week- $2201 Total Travel Package weekly
- $756 Weekly Taxable Wages +
- $861 Weekly Lodging Allowance +
- $584 Weekly M&I Allowance = $2201 combined! WEEKLY!
- *Based upon qualifying for position and allowances. The total package is inclusive of taxable wages and allowances.
