Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on a 38-bed medicine unit, requiring telemetry and IV experience with a diverse medical patient population.
Details- 13-week contract, 36 hours per week
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 38-bed medicine unit serving cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and medical patients with underlying psychiatric disorders
- RN-to-patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends; PCT-to-patient ratio is 1:10
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required on a rotating and as-needed basis
- No on-call responsibilities
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Telemetry and Med/Surg unit experience required
- Strong IV skills required
- Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ beds for large academic medical center submissions)
- Active licensure must be in hand
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required for consideration
- Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
