The Night Warehouse Manager will ensure the warehouse complies with the company's policies and vision. The incumbent will oversee receiving and maintenance operations while setting up the layout to ensure efficient space utilization throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

You will:

 •  Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
 •  Maintains shipping, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
 •  Responsible for overseeing the loading of trucks efficiently, accurately and on time
 •  Responsible for monitoring productivity of employees while pulling orders and loading trucks
 •  Maintains and enforces a safe work environment
 •  Maintains physical condition of warehouse
 •  Works with day shift manager to monitor workflow and tasks
 •  Answer telephone correspondence; interview employee candidates; prepare employee evaluations.
 •  Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
 •  Coordinate safety concerns with safety coordinator
 •  Engage with employees by conducting daily tailgate sessions and quarterly safety meetings
 •  Collaborate with other departments throughout the company
 •  Monitor and manage employee overtime; address and present solutions to aid in overtime management
 •  Insure employee success through relationship building, effective communication, positive recognition and timely addressing of issues (personal and performance related)
 •  Conduct accident/incident interviews with warehouse staff
 •  Oversee perfect order campaign goals to ensure that goals are met for the quarter Week
 •  Work in conjunction with local temp agencies to ensure proper staffing numbers are met
 •  Monthly performance reviews with employees for one-on-one connection as an aid to ensure performance goals are met each month.
 •  Reports to branch operations manager in order to reach new goals for crew and train on any new subjects/duties past down to night shift.
 •  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

You have:

 •  A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
 •  3+ years of warehouse management experience
 •  Process improvement expertise
 •  Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
 •  Proficiency in warehouse management software and databases
 •  Strong problem-solving skills
 •  Safety management and inventory control skills
 •  Excellent communication skills
