Payroll Clerk

A dynamic company in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Mgt industry is looking to permanent a Payroll Clerk and has partnered with Robert Half to find the ideal candidate to join their team.
This position will support the Payroll department with a variety of duties such as data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. In order to succeed in this position the candidate will need to communicate effectively with both internal team members and outside customers.
This Payroll Clerk opportunity is based in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area and is a long-term contract / contract to permanent employment role.
Your responsibilities in this role
• Distribute and administer reports as instructed
• Build and run custom reports
• Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
• Manage communications with employees on timesheet approvals
• Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
• Deliver instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc - Detailed and have the ability work independently
• Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
• experience in in Payroll software
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Foundational knowledge in Process Biweekly Payroll
• Solid understanding of payroll
• Command of payroll for under 100 employees
• Proficiency in Process Bi-weekly Payroll
• Experience with Paylocity
• Eagerness to master new systems
• 2+ years of previous payroll experience
