Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) is currently seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a leading engineering and design firm, we specialize in providing innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical designs and drawings for a variety of projects, including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems. You will work closely with engineers and other design professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and creative individual to contribute to the success of our growing company.

Responsibilities

Create detailed mechanical designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software

Perform calculations and analysis to ensure design compliance with codes and standards

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate mechanical systems into overall project design

Review and modify designs based on feedback from project team members

Attend project meetings and provide input on design-related issues

Maintain accurate documentation and records of design changes and revisions

Requirements

Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Designer

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software

Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise designs

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Experience with building codes and regulations
