The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects within the organization
through all stages of the project lifecycle to achieve a high level of performance and
quality in delivery of projects. The Project Manager is responsible for managing several
concurrent projects utilizing Mosaic s project management methodology. The Project
Manager is accountable for working with the project team to define scope, deliverables
and schedules. In addition to overall project management, they are responsible for
facilitating the business analysis and requirements gathering as appropriate to the
project s size and complexity. These activities include working with the appropriate
resources to identify process change, new requirements, acceptance criteria and
testing. The Project Manager is responsible for reporting out on project performance
and escalating any risks or project changes (schedule, resources, scope) to the
appropriate stakeholders. They are accountable for developing and actively managing
all project artifacts. The project manager is accountable for overall project success.
They serve as an active member of the PMO, contributing to the creation, further
development and adherence of a project methodology.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Manages full project lifecycle according to Mosaic s project management
methodology and best practices
Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget and
deliverables meet all acceptance criteria
Develops project plans, budgets, schedules, work breakdown structures, risk
and issue logs, change logs, and resource cost estimates
Collaborates with project team and subject matter experts to identify impacted
processes and required process change
Facilitates the gathering of all business and technical requirements including
acceptance criteria
Develops and implements test plans, when appropriate, to ensure successful
delivery of the project
Works with project team to monitor post-project success criteria metrics
over a predefined period of time
Collaborates with project team members to identify and resolve issues
Meets with project team regularly to ensure forward momentum on project
goals
Establishes with project team a documented definition of done
Completes project audits/ analysis in order to ensure projects have the
right schedule, scope and resources in order to be successful.
Ensures that all established reporting is being completed on time and rolled
up to the appropriate dashboard(s).
Escalates any risks, barriers or project changes (scope, schedule,
resources) to key stakeholders as appropriate
Proactively works with the project team to educate team on Mosaic s project
management best practices
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of Company policies and procedures
Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate Mosaic s 7 Essential Practices of
Leadership
Solid understanding of project management methodologies including
Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), and/or hybrid methodologies.
Experience with projects in all areas of an organization (e.g. Finance,
Technology)
Understanding of requirements gathering and acceptance criteria
development
Ability to complete process mapping of varying complexity
Demonstrated ability to manage or support multiple projects of varying
complexity
Experience with executing project change management
Conflict resolution acumen
Ability to lead diverse teams toward common goals
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills with an ability to manage
competing demands.
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to
establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
Excellent oral and written communications skills including the ability to
disseminate specialized and/or complex information in an adoptable format.
Experience interacting with both business and technical staff at all levels
including the executive level.
Knowledge of Smartsheet and Google Suite
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent education and experience. Minimum of three years of
experience in managing multiple projects with a proven record of success and
experience leading multi-function project teams required. Knowledge of Waterfall and
Agile approaches required. PMP, CAPM, CSM or equivalent preferred.
