Look no further, Junior Human Resources Generalist. Robert Half is partnering with a global financial services firm to immediately hire a Junior Human Resources Generalist. The Junior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department.
If you thrive in a dynamic work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities, this may be the role for you. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required.

Responsibilities included but no limited to:

 •  Administering HR-related documentation such as contracts, letters etc.
 •  Assisting in recruitment procedures, including processing applications, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews and coordinating with the hiring team.
 •  Tracking performance documentation and maintaining updated employee records.
 •  Handling accurate and timely data entry.
 •  Coordinating training sessions and seminars, and maintaining an attendance register.
 •  Assisting in special HR projects.
 •  Managing employee benefits program and handling any inquiries or issues.
 •  Providing administrative support to the HR team as needed.
 •  Serving as a backup reception, handling incoming calls and addressing queries.
 •  Proof of flexibility in schedule, arriving early and staying late when necessary.

This is a 5 day a week, permanent position based in New York, NY. It comes with a generous benefits package and time off policy.
 •  Knowledgeable in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
 •  A comprehension of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
 •  3+ years in human resources
 •  Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
 •  Solid understanding of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office
 •  Excellent ethics, integrity, and standards
 •  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
 •  Ability to view issues with impartiality
 •  Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
 •  PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred
 •  Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
 •  Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required
