About Our Client
My client is an Aerspace manufacturer specialziing in electronics utilizied on commercial and private airlines. My client is a part of a large publically traded company and has a strong financial backing as they expand/grow their local operation.
Located in Gurnee, they boast a state of the art manufacturing facility and a growing quality team of over 20 personnel. They look to bring on a Director of Quality to lead this team through their exciting next chapter.
Job Description
• The Director of Quality oversees quality control at multiple locations
• Leads the quality team of over 20 team members
• Drives changes in procedures as well as processes
• Interact and work on cross-functional leadership team to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met
• Ensures QMS is compliant with AS9100
• Serve as main POC with customers
• Manages reports and aids in development/career growth
• Leads the development of long and short term planning
• Ensure KPIs are being maintained and developed for Quality metrics
• Serve as leader and developer for company goals and objectives
• Use data to determine root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Manage and drive the non-conforming material system
• Manage and develop statistical sampling, procedures and statistic techniques
• Other duties as needed
