JOB TITLE (#24990): Radiology Technologist / Contract to Perm - Springfield, MA
Minimum of 2 years Radiology Technician experience
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist to fill an opening with a surgery center located in Springfield, Massachusetts
Requirements of the Radiology Technologist:
Must have an Associate Degree in Applied Science (A.S) or equivalent from a 2-year college and technical school; 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have at least 2 years of Radiology Technician experience
Must have AART and BLS Certification.
Must be able to regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Benefits of the Radiology Technologist:
The salary for this position is $45 / hr
Benefits are competitive and negotiable
Schedule of the Radiology Technologist:
This is a Full-time position (Contract to Permanent Position)
Contract Term: 13 weeks
Weekly schedule: Monday to Friday
No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call
Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist:
Responsible for performing fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room. Also responsible for participating in preoperative assessment of the patient, including C-arm procedures. Maintains and documents equipment are properly calibrated.
Maintains log of all C-arm procedures.
Participates as a team member in support of the total perioperative process.
Considers patient rights in the performance of job duties and responsibilities.
Contributes to the progress and development of the approved QAPI Program
Supports risk management and participates in programs directed to patient and staff safety.
Contributes to the quality improvement process; identifies roles and contributions upon request.
Objectively evaluates suggestions, grievances, and processes to identify opportunities to improve performance and quality of care.
Confirms that all persons in the room are properly shielded before activating C-arm.
Follows manufacturer's specifications and OSHA guidelines when performing C-arm procedures
