Tenant Accounting Analyst

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Analyst to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves working closely with leasing, property management, regional counsel and our third-party lease administration team, with a focus on tenant account maintenance, collections, and pursuit.

Responsibilities:

 •  Act as an internal liaison with leasing, property management, regional counsel and our third-party lease administration team
 •  Review tenant CAM & real estate tax billings
 •  Manage tenant vacancies and support internal requests for detailed lease interpretation and any supporting calculations
 •  Review the monthly rent roll, specifically monitoring tenants awaiting rent commencement
 •  Process and notify tenants of changes in their rent, CAM, real estate tax and other changes
 •  Review late fees prior to assessment and run quarterly statements
 •  Prepare and provide due diligence documentation as required
 •  Handle all tenant discussions and communications, and collect tenant rents and all other charges
 •  Responsible for tenant AR pursuits, documentation and follow up
 •  Resolve all disputed charges, including CAM, real estate tax, base rent, utility and other charges
 •  Research and apply unapplied cash balances, prepare tenant demand and default notices, and set up and monitor payment plans
 •  Identify and process write-offs and manage legal collections pursuit liaising with internal and external counsel
