Duration: 12 months contract, extendable up to 36 months

Job Description:
Summary:
This job function provides analytical support for the determination of ligand binding to target protein using two-dimensional liquid chromatography coupled with high-resolution mass spectrometry (2D-LC/MS).
This analyst needs to also engage with ligand binding confirmation using Native Mass Spectrometry approach.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with Pharmaceutical senior scientist in day-to-day tasks
Conduct sample preparation and assist instrument analysis/troubleshooting
Assist running experiments and data acquisition
Assist data processing with instrument vendor's and Pharmaceutical in-house software
Capture data into Pharmaceutical e-notebook and assist data archiving
Help to maintain instrumentation and bioanalytical consumables inventory.
Qualifications:
BS in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or relevant disciplines
A minimum of 0-3+ years of experience in analytical chemistry, open to more experience candidates with 3-5 years of experience
Knowledge of separation science and/or instrument analysis particularly in LC/MS
Computer literacy, and competency with word processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc.
Fast learner of new skills and attention to details
Training and experience in analytical lab with any of the following HPLC, mass spectrometry, sample preparation/purification for either large or small molecules preferred
Demonstrated scientific knowledge (e.g. GPA) and/or skills to maintain high level of performance preferred
