Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical client in Boulder, CO is currently looking for an Associate Scientist to join their expanding team.
Job Title: Associate Scientist / Mammalian Cell Culture / Pharma Industry
Duration: 10 months contract, extendable up to 36 months
Location: Boulder, CO
Note:
The client has the right-to-hire you as a permanent employee at any time during or after the end of contract.

Bench Scientist - Cell Biology & Translational Research
Responsibilities:
Support key drug discovery programs and assets in oncology-related research at the Pharmaceutical, Boulder Research Unit
Perform Mammalian Cell Cultures
Perform Protein analysis, e.g Western Blot and ELISA
Qualifications:
Master's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field
A minimum 0-3+ years of related experience
A strong background in cellular, molecular biology, genetics, pharmacology or related field is required
Proficiency in cell culture, plate-based cellular assays, sample collection, PCR, Western blotting and cloning
Experience with Mammalian Cell Culture
PCR/RT - PCR/qPCR experience
Experience with protein analysis, e.g. Western Blot and ELISA
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team player and collaboration mentality
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) preferred
Comfortable presenting data in a team environment
