The Opportunity
Our location in Chicago, IL, currently has an opportunity for an Senior Brand Manager, Pediatric Specialty Nutrition, Central Marketing. The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for managing and executing the International Pediatric Specialty Nutrition brand strategy, innovation pipeline, and KOL/ Congresses to effectively support commercialization, profit margin and business plan objectives for assigned products.
Additional responsibilities include business analysis, budget tracking, project management and communicating brand promotion programs to regional marketing managers.
What You'll Work On
• Create and implement marketing programs to support Pediatric Specialty Nutrition products.
• Design and launch innovation, advertising and promotion plans.
• Develop and maintain marketing and sales aid/promotional materials for Regional Marketing Managers to effectively promote and sell product(s).
• Assist in the execution of global product education, publication activities to effectively communicate the strategic positioning and life-cycle development of products to customers.
• Lead cross functional project teams focused on execution of programs, initiatives and/or strategies.
• Analyze and report periodic market data to support forecasting for new innovation(s)
• Collaborate with Abbott market insights and external market research agencies to conduct market research and/or survey data.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve marketing objectives. These groups include external customers and consumers, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Logistics, Public Affairs, Marketing and Executive Management and external vendors or agencies.
• Accountable for supporting and executing strategic and tactical objectives associated with driving product sales within regions.
Required Qualifications
• BA/BS Degree in Marketing, MBA strongly preferred due to the business complexity and long term developmental opportunities.
• 7+ years of Marketing product/brand management experience in health care marketing/ sales. Consumer Packaged Goods Marketing a plus.
• Immediate to advanced level skill with Office applications.
• Demonstrated success in project management, strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills including business and financial analysis.
