We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Dallas, Texas. This role involves managing the full bookkeeping for our organization, processing accounts receivable payments, and reconciling bank accounts among other responsibilities.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.

Responsibilities:

 •  Manage the full bookkeeping for the company
 •  Prepare and process invoices for clients
 •  Handle accounts receivable payments in a timely manner
 •  Process employee travel expense reports accurately
 •  Reconcile bank accounts and other accounts regularly
 •  Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivables operations
 •  Maintain Accounts Receivable aging reports
 •  Provide support for Accounts Payable operations
 •  Create general journals and other recording entries as needed
 •  Utilize software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and month-end close processes

 •  Proficiency in using accounting software, especially QuickBooks and Quickbooks ProAdvisor.
 •  Demonstrable skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
 •  Solid understanding of Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations.
 •  Ability to perform efficient Data Entry tasks.
 •  Competence in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks and reporting.
 •  Experience in handling Month End Close procedures.
 •  Knowledge and experience in managing Payroll.
 •  Ability to maintain accurate records of financial transactions as part of Bookkeeping responsibilities.
 •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 •  Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
 •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 •  Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
 •  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
