Visual Designer

Visual Designer with 8+ years of video production and graphic design experience needed for a full-time, onsite position in Cambridge. Client has an “office-first” work model but it’s flexible as needed. End-to-end video production experience is required.
Ideal candidate will come from a tech forward, AI, or machine learning environment. Salary is competitive and open depending on experience.

The Visual Designer will spearhead efforts to enhance the communication of our client's value proposition by overseeing the production and design of multimedia content. This could include, but is not limited to, videos, graphics, websites, illustrations, presentation slides, and animations.
This creative output will be leveraged to amplify company messaging across various channels, including investors, the media, and prospective partners.

Responsibilities:

 •  Video Production: Managing, producing, and editing high-quality videos for mediums such as social media platforms (specifically LinkedIn and X/Twitter), corporate events, and internal communications.
 •  Graphic Design: Designing visually accurate content for digital marketing materials, social media, the company website, and promotional campaigns.
 •  Presentation Design: Creating and refining engaging presentation slides and infographics for occasions like public speaking events and partner meetings.
 •  Brand Stewardship: Enforcing that all visual content remains in harmony with the company's branding guidelines, hence contributing to a consistent brand identity.
 •  Technical Communication: Converting technical concepts into easily digestible explainer videos and other creative solutions to effectively convey the firm's value proposition to our key audiences.
 •  Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, and FIGMA.
 •  Exceptional UX/UI design skills, with a proven record of generating visually appealing designs that align with strategic objectives.
 •  High proficiency with Google Suite, with a distinct emphasis on Google Slides.
 •  An outstanding portfolio showcasing graphic and video assets, encapsulating complex scientific ideas in an elegant and audience-appropriate manner.
 •  A minimum of 8 years of graphic design and video editing experience, preferably within the life sciences, technology, or biotechnology sectors.
 •  Knowledge of AI tools and applications, especially those applicable to design and content creation.
