About Our Client

Our client is growing CPG manufacturer, with a presence strong presence throughout the United State. They have multiple locations, headquartered out of California and recently launched a new facility just south of St. Paul. They seek an experienced Quality Leader, that will oversee this facility and report to their Vice President of Quality.

 •  3 Locations across the United State, with 500+ Employees
 •  Products include lotions, CBD topicals and other liquids
 •  The person will oversee all quality functions including QA, AC and R&D and have 10 total reports, including a Quality Manager

Job Description
 •  Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives and goals.
 •  Establish and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
 •  Lead a team of quality assurance professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure the highest level of performance.
 •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, supply chain, and research and development, to identify and address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
 •  Be responsible for managing third party testing of products associated with FDA-OTC requirements. This includes approving protocols, reviewing/approving reports and keeping paper and electronic records of testing documents.
 •  Be responsible for maintaining lab housekeeping practices to insure we meet and/or exceed minimum requirements of FDA, NOP NPA and cGMP.
 •  Analyze data and metrics related to product quality, customer feedback, and industry trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
 •  Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication and resolution of issues.
 •  Stay informed about emerging technologies, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the quality assurance field, and proactively recommend and implement changes as needed to maintain competitiveness and compliance.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field
 •  8+ years of experience in quality assurance leadership roles within the consumer goods manufacturing industry.
 •  Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards, and statistical process control.
 •  Proven track record of implementing and managing effective quality assurance programs and processes in a manufacturing environment.
 •  Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.
 •  Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve product quality and performance.
 •  Experience working with regulatory agencies and industry standards relevant to consumer goods manufacturing (e.g., FDA, GMP, HACCP).
 •  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to customers.
 •  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
