The Senior Program Manager for DSP Capacity Planning will be a key leader in the long-term capacity strategy and planning for the DSP Program. This role emphasizes creating alignment among various stakeholder teams. The program manager will design scalable programs that optimize business size for our top partners while also ensuring we don't weight too much capacity on too few partners.
By working closely with multiple teams, both upstream and downstream, the program manager will establish a cohesive approach to find this balance.

Amazon scales fast, and we strongly rely on data and mechanisms to support this growth. The Sr Program Manager will be responsible for constantly evolving strong forecasting and analytical models that can reliably predict long range capacity needs in a high growth and high variability environment.

Key job responsibilities
 •  Build scalable and data driven long range DSP capacity plans.
 •  Build and manage processes to incorporate planning inputs in a seamless and scalable manner.
 •  Build partnerships with upstream planning functions to measure, control and respond to planning variations.
 •  Work cross-functionally with field operations and functional leaders to drive influence in capacity planning and management.
 •  Drive leadership business reviews on long term capacity strategy.

About the team

Dive deep is table stakes on our team. Team members need to understand what drives volume variability. But after that our team's main objective is around earning trust with partner teams to build alignment on our strategies to fulfill needed volume.
We also are looking for team members who exemplify invent and simplify and are always on the lookout for ways to better existing processes.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Bellevue, WA, USA- 5+ years of program or project management experience
 •  Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
 •  Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
 •  Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
