Your Responsibilities as an Athletic Trainer
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
• Orthopedic assessments and documentation
• Counseling on concussions, nutrition, mental health, etc.
• Coordinated stakeholder communication, e.g., MD, PT, PSC, etc.
• Field and venue setup
• Hiring, onboarding, mentoring and reporting, Performance Reviews, action plans etc.
• Weekly Huddle Call hosting and follow up
• Monthly Staff meeting- ensure team attends
• Payroll / timecard / PTO approval
• Enforce adherence to PT Solutions time commitments and school contract obligations
• PRN Support scheduling- coordinating with senior head athletic trainer and scheduler
• Rounding on direct reports weekly/monthly by season
• Mentoring direct reports and reporting findings
• Site visit for questions, team building, coverage support for assigned school athletic trainers
Qualifications & Pay Range:
Qualifications
• Bachelor's in athletic training, masters preferred
• State Licensure and certified by the American Board of Certification as an Athletic Trainer
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
