• May be open to hybrid of remote / office position depending on the candidates previous experience level selling and servicing group health insurance. Qualified candidates to reside within 1 hour of Altoona.
Our Client, a local independent insurance agency, is seeking an experienced, customer focused and professional Health Insurance Producer to join their sales team.
Qualifications:
• Must hold an active Health Insurance License
• Previous experience as a Health Insurance Sales Representative is required to apply
• Experience in consultative business to business insurance sales with a successful record for results
• Ability to multi-task, follow through and follow up
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Strong ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal communications
• Strong computer knowledge and excellent typing skills
• Must be enthusiastic, confident, outgoing, and highly motivated
• High School diploma or GED is required
Responsibilities:
• Present and sell group health insurance policies to new and existing clients by Identifying the clients insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and loss exposures (insurable and uninsurable)
• Develop and calculate suitable coverage based on clients' needs
• Resolve client inquiries and complaints
• Expand business reach through networking techniques
• Comply with insurance standards and regulations
Creates and maintains prospect and suspect lists
• Track and identify areas of improvement
Compensation Overview:
• Salaried position based on experience
• Plus, an Excellent Commission plan
