About Our Client

Our client is a diversified real estate firm that specializes in development, design, and construction. The Commercial Construction Sr. Superintendent will lead with a team of real estate experts, financial advisors, architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
They deliver solutions by integrating with an ownership team and actively managing projects from concept through completion, assuming 100% responsibility for all phases of each project.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Commercial Construction Sr. Superintendent are:

 •  Leading and managing the on-site construction team.
 •  Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
 •  Attending production meetings.
 •  Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence to these.
 •  Ensuring quality standards are met.
 •  Placing orders for materials, and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.
 •  Following the project time line to ensure deadlines are met.
 •  Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness and orderliness.
 •  Maintaining records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders and RFIs.
 •  Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for a Commercial Construction Sr. Superintendent has:

 •  10+ years of experience with a commercial contractor or equivalent industry experience
 •  Demonstrated leadership ability of project teams with successful outcomes
 •  In depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower
 •  Proficient in basic use and functions of a personal computer
 •  OSHA 30-Hour Certification
 •  Experience with Scheduling
 •  Good time management skills
 •  The ability to work in a fast paced environment
