Sr. Financial Analyst
Title: Senior Financial Analyst (Direct Hire)
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Robert Half is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst in the manufacturing industry. This is a direct hire role in Minneapolis, MN, where you will be providing crucial financial support to the operations team and contributing to complex financial planning processes.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with operational teams to curtail manufacturing and supply chain costs.
• Guide accurate financial planning processes and rolling forecasts.
• Develop and analyze key financial performance indicators.
• Advocate compliance with global and local accounting standards.
• Lead standard cost setting processes and cost variance identification.
• Spearhead quarterly financial forecasts ensuring control over financial processes.
• Oversee planning and management of expenses linked to operations, capital investments, warehousing, and logistics.
• Handle all accounting functions, including financial close processes, general ledger accounting, reporting, analysis, and audit.
• Support the Operations team with invaluable financial insights.
• Respond to ad hoc special requests or projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
MBA or CPA highly preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in financial analysis, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
• Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost setting.
• Strong MS Office Suite and accounting software skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and international accounting standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently when required.
