Responsibilities include:
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Lead month-end close processes and preparation of financial statements
• Conduct reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review
• Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a Controller level role
• Strong understanding of general ledger principles and month-end close processes
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Knowledge of financial software and ERP systems
• Ability to develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
• Prior experience working in a larger company or corporate environment is preferred
