Job Description:
We are looking for self-motivated Registered Nurse with Cardiac , Stepdown, or ICU experience in our new unit.
Responsibilities:
Works under the supervision of the Nurse manager and the Director and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients.
The RN utilizes communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making to create a care plan for each patient based on physiological, psychosocial and cultural diversity.
Responsible for supervising and delegating non-professional personnel working directly with him/her to ensure optimum patient care.
Must demonstrate competence in dealing with age related needs of the specific patient populations served in the Critical Care/ units/departments.
Works under the direction of leadership and a multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive range of services or clinical care associated with and in accordance with standards of excellence established by our Health system and facility goals and strategic plans.
Certification Needed:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Current and valid state TN license required.
Registered Nurse with Cardiac Telemetry, Stepdown, or ICU experience required.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test.
