Summary:
A yacht service/management company is looking to hire a Bottom Coating and Underwater Hull Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a crew engaged in various bottom work tasks, including hull cleaning, inspections, coating applications, propeller maintenance, and other component repairs/inspections.
You will work closely with the Marine Lift Department to coordinate operations and ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Lead and manage a team of 17-20 employees engaged in bottom work tasks
• Oversee all aspects of bottom coating and underwater hull maintenance operations
• Coordinate with the Marine Lift Department to schedule yacht/vessel dry-docking and lifting operations
• Develop and implement procedures for hull cleaning, inspections, and coating applications
• Provide technical expertise in coatings and corrosion protection
• Conduct regular inspections of vessel hulls and underwater fittings
• Support company growth initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and expansion of service offerings
